QR codes are not something that we directly offer on Who’s Round, but that does not mean they cannot be used and used for free.
A QR code is not advanced technology and is widely available for free on the internet. All a QR code does is provide a way to store and retrieve information in a visual form. The information it needs is a web address or URL.
If you have a venue on Who’s Round you have a URL – we also call it a custom slug. You created it when setting up, and it can be amended anytime from the Ordering Channels section of the Admin Area.
You will see a page like this.
This slug is a URL / Webpage that when input, will take a user directly to your venues store.
All you need to do is generate a QR code for this, and this can be done online. Google "QR Code Maker" or something similar, there will be lots of options. None of them generally require any sign up or you to give any details, there are some premium options but generally not necessary albeit they all try to entice you!
Simply find a site, input your venues custom slug and you will have a QR Code you can add to your tables and menus.
To give an example, we made a QR code this this very article, try the QR code below on your phone and you will get an immediate sense of deja vu!
