When you open Order Manager, you will see the following page that contains your orders.
There are four tabs you can select depending on the status of an order:
Pending - Orders that have been received, but no action has been taken.
In Progress - Orders that have been accepted by your venue (either on Order Manager or the Venue Manager App) and are in the process of being prepared.
Completed - Orders have been completed, i.e. they were pending, then marked In Progress, then marked Complete.
Cancelled - Orders that have been cancelled. Such orders could be cancelled whilst Pending or In Progress.
There is also an option to filter the orders, and export the order details (more on this here)
When you open an order, regardless of status, you will see a page that contains order details. At the top of the page will be the details of the order, this is illustrated in the image below. Details of the products are on the same page, you will just need to scroll down.
In the image above, the order is for Table Service, so you will see a Table Number and also it will show as Sit Down. If it is a Pick Up order, the screen will be the same but without the Table Number and will note Pick Up rather than Sit Down.
A few points to note:
Payment Method - This will show as either Cash, so you will need to settle on delivery, or Card Payment. If a successful card payment is taken, it will also show the payment reference number provided by Stripe. More details on setting up card payments can be found here, or to refund payments here.
Delivery Date - This is the time and date for order fulfilment, either by Table Service or Pick Up. Please check this as whilst most orders will be for immediate fulfilment, we do offer the option to pre-order for up to 5 days in advance, so if your customer has pre-ordered the time and date will show here.
Messages - the messages tab allows you to communicate on this order with your customer. See this separate guide here
At the top of the page, you will see a Status tab, in the image above it is Pending. Use this to move orders through the fulfilment cycle, i.e. whilst Pending, move to Accepted or Rejected or In Progress to Complete. Note that your customer will receive push notifications when the status of the order changes, and will not be able to leave a review until it is marked as Complete.
